The hotel in Hokkaido was cozy, with warm rooms that did the trick, though they could get a little too warm with the air conditioning on. The service, despite limited English, was attentive and friendly for everyone. The location in Furano was good, near the ski field and various restaurants, though mainly frequented by locals with limited ski school options. The dining, offering so-so variety, could be improved, especially after our experience at a 5-star hotel.
